This world is full of wonder cant you see?

Why waste your life in front of a TV screen

Why bury your head inside of a book

Open your eyes for yourself; go take a look

Process the light that’s hitting your eye

The blades of green grass, the florescent blue sky

The wind, the rubble under your feet

That once living thing you now call a seat

Picture your cars as iron and earth

Ponder the process of your brain as it works

Look to the molecule of h, 2 and o

See how it binds, watch closely you’ll find

Find how it helps everything grow

Think on that space, that place that you hold

That space that place, it’s yours alone

The billions and trillions of cells that comprise you

Each living and being, from you, within you

Look to the sun, the moon and the stars

Picture the galaxy, the one we call ours

Now see that it too is the size of a cell

Although from our perspective it’s hard to tell

Think for yourself; yes think on your own

If the concept seems strange, try writing a poem

Unlock your mind, turn off your TV

Think for yourself, breathe for yourself, just sit there and “be”

Pondering The Lost World
